The Banning Pilots baseball team (Wilmington, CA), was overwhelmed 9-2 in Thursday's non-league outing with the visiting Peninsula Panthers (Rolling Hills Estates, CA)
The Panthers now hold a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bishop Montgomery for a non-league outing on Saturday, February 18. Peninsula will confront a Knights team coming off a 8-1 non-league loss to South (Torrance, CA). The Knights record now stands at 0-1.
Next, the Pilots confront the Hamilton Yankees (Los Angeles, CA) in a non-league outing, on Friday, February 17. Banning will attempt to advance on its 0-1 season record. The Yankees go into the outing with a 1-1 record after their 6-0 non-league loss to Serra (Gardena, CA).
