The Masuk Panthers basketball team scored 53 points and held the visiting Bethel Wildcats to 42 in the Panthers league triumph on Thursday.
The Panthers now sport a 9-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to St. Joseph for a non-league match on Saturday, February 18. Masuk will meet a Cadets team coming off a 61-46 league loss to Ridgefield (Ridgefield, CT). The Cadets record now stands at 8-9.
With the defeat, Bethel moves to 2-16 on the year. The Wildcats host Oxford (Oxford, CT) to meet the Wolverines in a non-league match on Saturday, February 18. The Wolverines enter the match with a record of 5-13. Oxford lost 57-53 in their recent league match against Ansonia (Ansonia, CT)
