The McGregor Mercuries (McGregor, MN) basketball nipped the host Braham Bombers (Braham, MN), 66-61 in Thursday's league test.

The Mercuries (5-15) will now prepare for their test against Fond du Lac Ojibwe Ogichida (Cloquet, MN). The Ogichida go into the non-league test with a 8-8 record. In their last test, Fond du Lac Ojibwe Ogichida got by Carlton (Carlton, MN), 101-71, in a league test.

The Bombers now own a 6-14 record. They play next when they host Carlton for a non-league test on Tuesday, February 21. Braham will encounter a Bulldogs squad coming off a 53-50 league win over Cromwell (Cromwell, MN). The Bulldogs record now stands at 8-10.
