South Dakota High School Basketball - Burke ripped by Wagner

The Wagner Red Raiders basketball team scored 68 points and held the visiting Burke Cougars to 38 in the Red Raiders non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Red Raiders now sport a 8-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Platte/Geddes for a A Region 5 contest on Friday, February 17. Wagner will meet a Black Panthers team coming off a 62-59 non-league loss to Winner (Winner, SD). The Black Panthers record now stands at 12-6.
The Cougars (5-13) will now prepare for their contest against Alcester-Hudson (Alcester, SD). The Cubs enter the non-league contest with a 5-15 record. In their last contest, Alcester-Hudson was routed by Freeman Academy/Marion (Freeman, SD), 64-52, in a league contest.
