Charlestown Townies (Charlestown, MA) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Snowden International Cougars (Boston, MA), 99-50 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Charlestown upgrades its record to 16-3 on the campaign. The Townies host Lowell (Lowell, MA) to play the Red Raiders in a non-league bout on Sunday, February 19. The Red Raiders come into the bout with a record of 10-8. Lowell lost 68-58 in their recent league bout against Andover (Andover, MA)

Next up, the Cougars play the Medford Mustangs (Medford, MA) in a non-league bout, on Sunday, February 19. Snowden International will attempt to upgrade on its 10-10 season record. The Mustangs come into the bout with a 12-6 record after their 79-42 non-league win over Boston Latin (Boston, MA).
