The Taconic Braves (Pittsfield, MA) basketball crushed the visiting East Longmeadow Spartans (East Longmeadow, MA), 84-46 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Braves (16-2) will now prepare for their test against Mahar Regional (Orange, MA). The Senators go into the non-league test with a 10-6 record.
The Spartans now own a 4-14 record. They play next when they host Chicopee for a Valley test on Friday, February 17. East Longmeadow will encounter a Pacers squad coming off a 54-51 non-league loss to Chicopee Comp (Chicopee, MA). The Pacers record now stands at 2-15.
