The Wachusett Regional Mountaineers (Holden, MA) basketball crushed the host Framingham Flyers (Framingham, MA), 71-41 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Mountaineers (7-10) will now prepare for their test against Fitchburg (Fitchburg, MA). The Red Raiders go into the Midland-Wachusett A test with a 12-4 record. In their last test, Fitchburg walloped Oakmont Regional (Ashburnham, MA), 70-62, in a non-league test.
The Flyers now own a 3-13 record. They play next when they host Winchester for a non-league test on Monday, February 20. Framingham will encounter a Red & Black squad coming off a 43-42 league loss to Reading Memorial (Reading, MA). The Red & Black record now stands at 12-7.
