The Kennewick Lions basketball team (Kennewick, WA), was overwhelmed 73-40 in Thursday's non-league battle with the visiting Mt. Spokane Wildcats (Mead, WA)
The Wildcats now possess a 22-1 record.
The Lions (15-8) will now prepare for their battle against Walla Walla (Walla Walla, WA). The Blue Devils come into the 3A/4A Mid-Columbia battle with a 11-12 record. In their last battle, Walla Walla trounced Ferris (Spokane, WA), 71-54, in a non-league battle.
