In Thursday's non-league match, the host Word of Life Christian Academy Ambassadors basketball team scored a tight 46-40 triumph over the TPLS Christian Academy Lions.
In their next game, the Ambassadors meet the National Christian Academy White Eagles (Fort Washington, MD) in a Freelance match, on Wednesday, February 22. Word of Life Christian Academy will attempt to better on its 13-10 season record.
With the defeat, TPLS Christian Academy moves to 2-8 on the year.
