Elton Indians (Elton, LA) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Franklin Hornets (Franklin, LA), 49-47 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Elton upgrades its record to 17-12 on the campaign. The Indians travel to White Castle (White Castle, LA) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Monday, February 20. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a record of 8-9. White Castle won 52-30 in their recent league bout against East Iberville (St. Gabriel, LA)
