The Guntersville Wildcats basketball team (Guntersville, AL), was nudged 36-33 in Thursday's non-league battle with the visiting Southside Panthers (Selma, AL)
The Panthers now sport a 24-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Arab for a non-league battle on Wednesday, February 22. Southside will battle a Knights team coming off a 56-30 non-league win over Springville (Springville, AL). The Knights record now stands at 19-12.
The Wildcats (30-5) will now prepare for their battle against Southside (Gadsden, AL). The Panthers come into the non-league battle with a 22-7 record. In their last battle, Southside edged Moody (Moody, AL), 54-31, in a non-league battle.
