In Thursday's non-league match, the host Marion County Red Raiders basketball team scored a decisive 63-42 triumph over the Shoals Christian Flame.
In their next game, the Red Raiders meet the Covenant Christian Eagles (Tuscumbia, AL) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, February 21. Marion County will attempt to move on its 8-8 season record. The Eagles enter the match with a 4-4 record after their 47-26 non-league win over Addison (Addison, AL).
With the defeat, Shoals Christian moves to 17-7 on the year.
