South Plainfield Tigers (South Plainfield, NJ) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Union Farmers (Union, NJ), 48-29 in a non-league bout.
With the win, South Plainfield upgrades its record to 11-12 on the season.
Next up, the Farmers play the Irvington Blue Knights (Irvington, NJ) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, February 18. Union will attempt to upgrade on its 7-10 season record. The Blue Knights go into the bout with a 16-3 record after their 35-21 non-league win over Roselle Park (Roselle Park, NJ).
