Columbia Cougars (Maplewood, NJ) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Ridgewood Maroons (Ridgewood, NJ), 53-45 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Columbia upgrades its record to 15-7 on the season. The Cougars travel to Newark Academy (Livingston, NJ) to clash with the Minutemen in a bout on Monday, February 20. The Minutemen go into the bout with a record of 0-0.
