The Borger Bulldogs (Borger, TX) softball routed the host Lubbock Westerners (Lubbock, TX), 16-10 in Thursday's non-league bout.
The Bulldogs (2-1) will now prepare for their bout against Chapin (El Paso, TX). The Huskies go into the non-league bout with a 0-1 record. In their last bout, Chapin was routed by Eastwood (El Paso, TX), 20-0, in a non-league bout.
The Westerners now possess a 1-1 record. They play next when they travel to El Dorado for a non-league bout on Friday, February 17. Lubbock will confront a Aztecs squad coming off a 15-8 non-league loss to Canyon (Canyon, TX). The Aztecs record now stands at 1-2.
