The Weiss Wolves got by the host Coppell Cowboys softball squad by a count of 6-5 in Thursday's non-league battle.

The Wolves (2-1) will now prepare for their battle against Clark (San Antonio, TX). The Cougars go into the non-league battle with a 1-1 record. In their last battle, Clark was edged by Rockwall (Rockwall, TX), 6-1, in a non-league battle.

The Cowboys now sport a 0-3 record. They play next when they travel to Carroll for a non-league battle on Friday, February 17. Coppell will meet a Tigers squad coming off a 12-8 non-league loss to Dallas HSAA Red (Plano, TX). The Tigers record now stands at 0-3.
