California High School Softball - El Monte can't hold off Sierra Vista

The Sierra Vista Dons softball team scored 11 runs and limited the visiting El Monte Lions to 10 in the Dons non-league triumph on Thursday.
With the triumph, Sierra Vista moves its record to 1-0 on the year. The Dons host Arroyo (El Monte, CA) to clash with the Knights in a non-league game on Tuesday, February 21. The Knights come into the game with a record of 1-2. Arroyo lost 7-2 in their recent non-league game against Azusa (Azusa, CA)
In their next game, the Lions clash with the South East Jaguars (South Gate, CA) in a non-league game, on Wednesday, February 22. El Monte will attempt to move on its 1-1 season record.
