In Thursday's non-league contest, the Grand Oaks Grizzlies (Spring, TX) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Fulshear Chargers (Fulshear, TX), by a margin of 16-7.
With the triumph, Grand Oaks moves its record to 2-1 on the year. The Grizzlies host Caney Creek (Conroe, TX) to play the Panthers in a 6A Region II District 13 contest on Tuesday, February 21. The Panthers come into the contest with a record of 1-1. Caney Creek lost 15-1 in their recent non-league contest against Crosby (Crosby, TX)
In their next game, the Chargers play the Vista Ridge Rangers (Cedar Park, TX) in a non-league contest, on Friday, February 17. Fulshear will attempt to move on its 2-1 season record. The Rangers come into the contest with a 1-1 record after their 9-2 non-league loss to George Ranch (Richmond, TX).
