The Mustangs now own a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Humble for a non-league challenge on Friday, February 17. Magnolia West will battle a Wildcats squad coming off a 16-4 non-league loss to Galena Park (Galena Park, TX). The Wildcats record now stands at 0-1.

With the loss, Klein Forest falls to 0-3 on the campaign. The Eagles host Fort Bend Elkins (Missouri City, TX) to battle the Knights in a non-league challenge on Friday, February 17. The Knights enter the challenge with a record of 1-2. Fort Bend Elkins won 19-5 in their recent non-league challenge against Dekaney (Houston, TX)
