The Lancaster Eagles softball team scored 19 runs and limited the host Rosamond Roadrunners to 5 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Thursday.

With the triumph, Lancaster improves its record to 2-0 on the year. The Eagles travel to Vasquez (Acton, CA) to clash with the Mustangs in a non-league game on Wednesday, February 22. The Mustangs come into the game with a record of 2-5. Vasquez lost 9-4 in their recent non-league game against Valencia (Valencia, CA)

In their next game, the Roadrunners clash with the Burroughs Burros (Ridgecrest, CA) in a non-league game, on Monday, February 20. Rosamond will attempt to improve on its 0-2 season record. The Burros come into the game with a 0-3 record after their 10-8 non-league loss to Academy of Careers & Exploration (Helendale, CA).
