The St. Monica Mariners softball team scored 16 runs and limited the visiting Marymount Sailors to 1 in the Mariners non-league triumph on Thursday.
With the triumph, St. Monica moves its record to 1-0 on the year. The Mariners host La Salle (Pasadena, CA) to clash with the Lancers in a Camino Real game on Thursday, February 23. The Lancers come into the game with a record of 0-1.
In their next game, the Sailors clash with the Village Christian Crusaders (Sun Valley, CA) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, February 21. Marymount will attempt to move on its 0-1 season record. The Crusaders come into the game with a 1-0 record after their 8-0 non-league win over Grace Brethren (Simi Valley, CA).
