Arbor Prep Gators (Ypsilanti, MI) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Canton Preparatory Chargers (Canton, MI), 61-44 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Arbor Prep upgrades its record to 11-9 on the season. The Gators host Denby (Detroit, MI) to play the Tars in a non-league bout on Friday, February 16. The Tars go into the bout with a record of 4-14. Denby won 93-91 in their recent non-league bout against Osborn (Detroit, MI)

Next up, the Chargers play the Chavez Academy Aztec Eagles (Detroit, MI) in a Detroit Metro bout, on Monday, February 19. Canton Preparatory will attempt to upgrade on its 8-8 season record. The Aztec Eagles go into the bout with a 3-13 record after their 34-31 league loss to Hope Of Detroit Academy (Detroit, MI).
