The Arts Jaguars basketball team (Newark, NJ), was nudged 56-52 in Friday's non-league battle with the host Plainfield Cardinals (Plainfield, NJ)
The Cardinals now possess a 16-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Orange for a non-league battle on Saturday, February 17. Plainfield will battle a Tornadoes team coming off a 47-36 non-league win over Verona (Verona, NJ). The Tornadoes record now stands at 14-8.
The Jaguars (19-7) will now prepare for their battle against Parsippany (Parsippany, NJ). The Redhawks come into the non-league battle with a 11-13 record. In their last battle, Parsippany edged High Point (Sussex, NJ), 51-50, in a non-league battle.
