The Ayersville Pilots basketball team scored 53 points and restricted the host Fairview Apaches to 29 in the Pilots league victory on Friday.
The Pilots now sport a 9-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Montpelier for a non-league contest on Saturday, February 17. Ayersville will battle a Locomotives team coming off a 52-42 league win over Gorham Fayette (Fayette, OH). The Locomotives record now stands at 11-8.
The Apaches (9-11) will now prepare for their contest against Tinora (Defiance, OH). The Rams come into the Green Meadows contest with a 7-12 record. In their last contest, Tinora was routed by Elmwood (Bloomdale, OH), 65-60, in a non-league contest.
