In Friday's non-league outing, the Battle Lake Battlers (Battle Lake, MN) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Bertha-Hewitt Bears (Bertha, MN), by a margin of 86-47.
The Battlers (13-12) will now prepare for their outing against Hillcrest Lutheran Academy (Fergus Falls, MN). The Comets go into the A Section 6 outing with a 21-6 record.
The Bears now own a 13-11 record. They play next when they travel to Henning for a non-league outing on Tuesday, February 20. Bertha-Hewitt will clash with a Hornets squad coming off a 77-49 non-league win over Verndale (Verndale, MN). The Hornets record now stands at 21-3.
