The South Allegheny Gladiators basketball team scored 71 points and restricted the visiting Belle Vernon Leopards to 62 in the Gladiators non-league victory on Friday.
The Gladiators now sport a 16-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hampton for a non-league contest on Wednesday, February 21. South Allegheny will battle a Talbots team coming off a 66-55 non-league win over Central Valley (Monaca, PA). The Talbots record now stands at 20-3.
