In Friday's non-league outing, the Farmington River Hawks (Farmington, CT) basketball squad edged the visiting Bloomfield Warhawks (Bloomfield, CT), by a count of 76-74.
The River Hawks (13-6) will now prepare for their outing against Avon (Avon, CT). The Falcons go into the Central Connecticut - West Colonial outing with a 4-15 record. In their last outing, Avon was tipped by Enfield (Enfield, CT), 82-62, in a non-league outing.
The Warhawks now hold a 7-10 record. They play next when they host Conard for a non-league outing on Saturday, February 17. Bloomfield will clash with a Red Wolves squad coming off a 68-53 non-league win over Platt (Meriden, CT). The Red Wolves record now stands at 13-4.
