The Mustangs enter the game with a 18-10 record after their 63-35 league win over Jacksboro (Jacksboro, TX).

With the defeat, Hawley moves to 14-5 on the year. The Bearcats travel to Archer City (Archer City, TX) to face the Wildcats in a non-league game on Monday, February 19. The Wildcats enter the challenge with a record of 11-19. Archer City lost 62-50 in their recent league challenge against Nocona (Nocona, TX)
