Virginia High School Basketball - Cape Henry Collegiate knocked off by Veritas Collegiate Academy

February 16, 2024: Virginia Beach, VA 23454

The Veritas Collegiate Academy Spartans basketball team scored 93 points and held the host Cape Henry Collegiate Dolphins to 85 in the Spartans non-league triumph on Friday.

The Spartans now sport a 19-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Christchurch School for a non-league contest on Tuesday, February 20. Veritas Collegiate Academy will meet a Seahorses team coming off a 62-47 league win over Fredericksburg Christian (Fredericksburg, VA). The Seahorses record now stands at 11-13.

The Dolphins (9-15) will now prepare for their contest against Peninsula Catholic (Newport News, VA). The Knights enter the non-league contest with a 22-8 record. In their last contest, Peninsula Catholic ran past Norfolk Christian (Norfolk, VA), 96-43, in a league contest.
