The Mt. Pleasant Oilers basketball team scored 65 points and held the host Carman-Ainsworth Cavaliers to 61 in the Oilers league triumph on Friday.

The Oilers now sport a 12-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Grand Blanc for a Saginaw Valley contest on Friday, February 23. Mt. Pleasant will battle a Bobcats team coming off a 73-66 league win over Saginaw (Saginaw, MI). The Bobcats record now stands at 12-8.

The Cavaliers (10-10) will now prepare for their contest against Powers Catholic (Flint, MI). The Chargers enter the Saginaw Valley contest with a 16-3 record. In their last contest, Powers Catholic nudged Dow (Midland, MI), 84-61, in a league contest.
