Concord Raiders (Wilmington, DE) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Newark Yellowjackets (Newark, DE), 49-48 in a league bout.

With the win, Concord upgrades its record to 8-11 on the season. The Raiders travel to Archmere Academy (Claymont, DE) to play the Auks in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 20. The Auks go into the bout with a record of 10-9. Archmere Academy won 64-38 in their recent non-league bout against Odyssey Charter (Wilmington, DE)
