Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Lake Central Indians (St. John, IN) and the host Crown Point Bulldogs (Crown Point, IN), saw Lake Central's basketball squad hold off Crown Point by a count of 32-30.

With the victory, Lake Central upgrades its record to 18-3 on the campaign. The Indians travel to McCutcheon (Lafayette, IN) to play the Mavericks in a non-league challenge on Friday, February 23. The Mavericks come into the challenge with a record of 4-15.

Next up, the Bulldogs play the Hammond Morton Governors (Hammond, IN) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, February 20. Crown Point will attempt to upgrade on its 15-5 season record. The Governors come into the challenge with a 7-14 record after their 63-59 non-league loss to Warsaw (Warsaw, IN).
