In Friday's non-league outing, the Perry Pumas (Gilbert, AZ) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Deer Valley Skyhawks (Glendale, AZ), by a margin of 78-49.
The Pumas (21-6) will now prepare for their outing against Brophy College Prep (Phoenix, AZ). The Broncos go into the 6A Premier outing with a 17-10 record. In their last outing, Brophy College Prep smashed Desert Vista (Phoenix, AZ), 83-70, in a non-league outing.
The Skyhawks now own a 23-4 record. They play next when they host Cortez for a non-league outing on Wednesday, February 21. Deer Valley will clash with a Colts squad coming off a 71-65 non-league win over Lee Williams (Kingman, AZ). The Colts record now stands at 15-11.
