Ohio High School Basketball - East overwhelms Lowellville

February 16, 2024: Youngstown, OH 44505

Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the East (Youngstown, OH) and the visiting Lowellville Rockets (Lowellville, OH), saw East's basketball squad wallop Lowellville by a tally of 73-46.

With the victory, East improves its record to 12-9 on the campaign. The travel to West Branch (Beloit, OH) to play the Warriors in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, February 27. The Warriors come into the challenge with a record of 17-3.

Next up, the Rockets play the McDonald Blue Devils (McDonald, OH) in a Mahoning Valley - Scarlet challenge, on Friday, February 23. Lowellville will attempt to improve on its 13-8 season record. The Blue Devils come into the challenge with a 11-10 record after their 65-58 non-league win over Maplewood (Cortland, OH).
