The Edgewood Warriors (Ashtabula, OH) basketball felled the visiting West Geauga Wolverines (Chesterland, OH), 57-48 in Friday's non-league test.
The Warriors (16-5) will now prepare for their test against St. John (Ashtabula, OH). The Fighting Herald go into the non-league test with a 3-17 record. In their last test, St. John was beaten by Grand Valley (Orwell, OH), 63-28, in a non-league test.
The Wolverines now own a 13-8 record. They play next when they host Lakeview for a non-league test on Tuesday, February 20. West Geauga will encounter a Bulldogs squad coming off a 41-36 non-league loss to Berkshire (Burton, OH). The Bulldogs record now stands at 9-12.
