Fairmont Cardinals (Fairmont, MN) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Windom Eagles (Windom, MN), 76-46 in a league bout.

With the victory, Fairmont upgrades its record to 12-11 on the campaign. The Cardinals host Lake Crystal-Wellcome Memorial (Lake Crystal, MN) to play the Knights in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 20. The Knights come into the bout with a record of 22-3. Lake Crystal-Wellcome Memorial won 62-48 in their recent league bout against Waseca (Waseca, MN)

Next up, the Eagles play the Springfield Tigers (Springfield, MN) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, February 20. Windom will attempt to upgrade on its 8-17 season record. The Tigers come into the bout with a 17-6 record after their 93-66 non-league win over Wabasso (Wabasso, MN).
