The Fitchburg Red Raiders basketball team scored 58 points and held the visiting St. Paul Knights to 51 in the Red Raiders non-league triumph on Friday.
The Red Raiders now sport a 7-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lunenburg for a non-league contest on Saturday, February 17. Fitchburg will battle a Blue Knights team coming off a 52-46 non-league win over Groton-Dunstable (Groton, MA). The Blue Knights record now stands at 12-5.
The Knights (8-10) will now prepare for their contest against Lunenburg (Lunenburg, MA). The Blue Knights enter the non-league contest with a 13-5 record. In their last contest, Lunenburg nudged Fitchburg (Fitchburg, MA), 46-43, in a non-league contest.
