The St. John Fighting Herald basketball team (Ashtabula, OH), was overwhelmed 63-28 in Friday's non-league battle with the host Grand Valley Mustangs (Orwell, OH)

The Mustangs now possess a 7-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Harding for a non-league battle on Tuesday, February 20. Grand Valley will confront a Skippers team coming off a 73-66 non-league win over Cardinal (Middlefield, OH). The Skippers record now stands at 15-5.

The Fighting Herald (3-17) will now prepare for their battle against Edgewood (Ashtabula, OH). The Warriors come into the non-league battle with a 16-5 record. In their last battle, Edgewood trounced West Geauga (Chesterland, OH), 57-48, in a non-league battle.
