The Hermantown Hawks basketball team scored 83 points and held the visiting Mound-Westonka White Hawks to 74 in the Hawks non-league triumph on Friday.
The Hawks now sport a 20-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Superior for a non-league contest on Thursday, February 22. Hermantown will meet a Spartans team coming off a 70-62 non-league loss to Chippewa Falls (Chippewa Falls, WI). The Spartans record now stands at 20-5.
The White Hawks (8-13) will now prepare for their contest against Duluth East (Duluth, MN). The Greyhounds enter the non-league contest with a 6-14 record. In their last contest, Duluth East ran past Denfeld (Duluth, MN), 70-64, in a non-league contest.
