Palmyra Panthers (Palmyra, MO) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Highland Cougars (Ewing, MO), 54-30 in a league bout.

With the win, Palmyra upgrades its record to 23-1 on the season. The Panthers host Clark County (Kahoka, MO) to play the Indians in a Clarence Cannon bout on Thursday, February 22. The Indians go into the bout with a record of 7-17. Clark County won 63-42 in their recent league bout against Highland (Ewing, MO)

Next up, the Cougars play the Clark County Indians (Kahoka, MO) in a Clarence Cannon bout, on Tuesday, February 20. Highland will attempt to upgrade on its 6-15 season record. The Indians go into the bout with a 6-17 record after their 57-37 league loss to Centralia (Centralia, MO).
