Lakes International Language Academy (Forest Lake, MN) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Hope Academy (Minneapolis, MN), 96-85 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Lakes International Language Academy upgrades its record to 12-14 on the campaign. The host Roosevelt (Minneapolis, MN) to play the Teddies in a non-league bout on Monday, February 19. The Teddies come into the bout with a record of 9-13. Roosevelt lost 79-66 in their recent non-league battle against Edison (Minneapolis, MN)

The (6-20) will now prepare for their battle against Humboldt (St. Paul, MN). The Hawks come into the non-league battle with a 6-13 record. In their last battle, Humboldt beat Washington Tech (St. Paul, MN), 80-65, in a non-league battle.
