The Zephyr Bulldogs basketball team (Zephyr, TX), was nudged 42-36 in Friday's non-league battle with the host Lingleville Cardinals (Lingleville, TX)
The Cardinals now sport a 19-14 record. They put it on the line next when they host Walnut Springs for a non-league battle on Tuesday, February 20. Lingleville will battle a Hornets team coming off a 51-43 league win over Covington (Covington, TX). The Hornets record now stands at 11-7.
The Bulldogs (24-6) will now prepare for their battle against Lometa (Lometa, TX). The Hornets come into the non-league battle with a 2-11 record.
