Illinois High School Basketball - Little Village overwhelmed by Thornwood

The Thornwood Thunderbirds basketball team scored 60 points and restricted the host Little Village Phoenix to 27 in the Thunderbirds non-league victory on Friday.
The Thunderbirds now sport a 13-17 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Shepard for a non-league contest on Monday, February 19. Thornwood will battle a Astros team coming off a 60-49 league loss to Thornton Fractional North (Calumet City, IL). The Astros record now stands at 9-22.
The Phoenix (19-10) will now prepare for their contest against Bulls College Prep (Chicago, IL). The Bulls come into the non-league contest with a 8-20 record. In their last contest, Bulls College Prep was routed by Benet Academy (Lisle, IL), 84-50, in a non-league contest.
