The Lynchburg-Clay Mustangs (Lynchburg, OH) basketball nipped the host Whiteoak Wildcats (Mowrystown, OH), 35-33 in Friday's league test.

The Mustangs (10-12) will now prepare for their test against Zane Trace (Chillicothe, OH). The Pioneers go into the non-league test with a 12-9 record. In their last test, Zane Trace got by Huntington (Chillicothe, OH), 54-36, in a league test.

The Wildcats now own a 5-17 record. They play next when they host Eastern for a non-league test on Tuesday, February 20. Whiteoak will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 53-34 league loss to Southern (Racine, OH). The Eagles record now stands at 4-18.
