Maple Grove Crimson (Maple Grove, MN) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Robbinsdale Armstrong Falcons (Plymouth, MN), 73-68 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Maple Grove upgrades its record to 15-7 on the campaign. The Crimson travel to Osseo (Osseo, MN) to play the Orioles in a AAAA Section 5 bout on Tuesday, February 20. The Orioles come into the bout with a record of 15-8. Osseo won 90-53 in their recent non-league bout against Anoka (Anoka, MN)

Next up, the Falcons play the Wayzata Trojans (Plymouth, MN) in a AAAA Section 6 bout, on Tuesday, February 20. Robbinsdale Armstrong will attempt to upgrade on its 14-9 season record. The Trojans come into the bout with a 22-1 record after their 71-70 league win over Hopkins (Minnetonka, MN).
