In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Mount Desert Island Trojans basketball team scored a tight 58-52 triumph over the Maranacook Black Bears.
In their next game, the Trojans meet the Old Town Coyotes (Old Town, ME) in a non-league match, on Wednesday, February 21. Mount Desert Island will attempt to move on its 10-10 season record. The Coyotes enter the match with a 16-3 record after their 58-34 non-league win over Hermon (Hermon, ME).
With the defeat, Maranacook moves to 15-4 on the year.
