In Friday's non-league match, the host West Branch Warriors basketball team scored a tight 69-63 triumph over the McConnellsburg Spartans.

In their next game, the Warriors meet the Berlin Brothersvalley Mountaineers (Berlin, PA) in a non-league match, on Saturday, February 17. West Branch will attempt to better on its 21-2 season record. The Mountaineers enter the match with a 21-2 record after their 71-52 non-league win over Tussey Mountain (Saxton, PA).

With the defeat, McConnellsburg moves to 20-3 on the year.
