The South Warren Spartans (Bowling Green, KY) basketball knocked off the host Metcalfe County Hornets (Edmonton, KY), 87-72 in Friday's non-league test.
The Spartans (12-10) will now prepare for their test against Todd County Central (Elkton, KY). The Rebels go into the non-league test with a 12-13 record. In their last test, Todd County Central notched a victory over Warren East (Bowling Green, KY), 61-47, in a non-league test.
The Hornets now own a 9-18 record. They play next when they host Glasgow for a non-league test on Monday, February 19. Metcalfe County will encounter a Scotties squad coming off a 58-56 non-league loss to Franklin-Simpson (Franklin, KY). The Scotties record now stands at 7-15.
