In Friday's league outing, the Mount St. Charles Academy Mounties (Woonsocket, RI) basketball squad beat the visiting Scituate Spartans (North Scituate, RI), by a margin of 55-40.
The Mounties (10-9) will now prepare for their outing against Ponaganset (North Scituate, RI). The Chieftains go into the Division 3 outing with a 10-9 record. In their last outing, Ponaganset defeated Block Island (New Shoreham, RI), 51-28, in a league outing.
The Spartans now own a 4-18 record.
