In Friday's non-league outing, the Andover Trojans (Andover, KS) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Newton Railroaders (Newton, KS), by a margin of 68-13.

The Trojans (18-0) will now prepare for their outing against Salina Central (Salina, KS). The Mustangs go into the non-league outing with a 9-9 record. In their last outing, Salina Central smashed Valley Center (Valley Center, KS), 41-32, in a league outing.

The Railroaders now own a 2-15 record. They play next when they host Derby for a non-league outing on Monday, February 19. Newton will encounter a Panthers squad coming off a 54-37 non-league loss to Maize South (Wichita, KS). The Panthers record now stands at 14-3.
